Also called an "anthology," a book collaboration is created when a group of people each write a chapter that is published in a book as a collection of stories. 

Jo's collaborations are all TRUE STORIES, with each author writing one chapter.

Do you believe you have an important message that people need to hear? When Jo first started thinking about creating a collaboration, she knew readers would want to hear about what motivates others. So many people struggle these days finding inspiration, motivating themselves, and staying motivated to make changes in their lives. It seems to be a missing link to success, and real-life stories can show the reader that everyday people are capable of whatever they desire.

With our first one in 2021, Absolute Will, Jo did it as a fundraiser, she chose a very specific theme, and it worked out beautifully. She wanted to have 21 stories in the book and she wanted all the co-author collaborators to be WOMEN. She wanted stories of women who had gone through a health crisis of some sort: mental health, emotional health, or physical health.

Some of the authors who joined Absolute Will have dealt with addiction (of their own, or with a spouse), trauma, abuse, receiving devastating news during their pregnancy about their baby's health, losing a baby, losing a parent, some have been through scary autoimmune illnesses, and others have had physical injuries that almost stopped them in their tracks.

And ALL of them used their willpower to get through some of their most difficult life events. 

Absolute Will ended up being an award-winning finalist in the 2022 International Book awards, it is an international best seller, and it has ranked #1 in 40 categories on Amazon: #1 New Release in 31 categories and #1 Best Seller in 9 categories across multiple countries!

With Absolute Vision in 2022, Jo decided to open it up to men as well and we had FOUR men join this collaboration! And that book is also now an international best seller and has hit #1 in 57 categories in 3 countries!

To be in a Boondocks Publishing collaboration, it means you just have to write one inspirational chapter! This is the fast-track to becoming a published author!

If you've always thought about telling your powerful, inspirational story but are apprehensive about all the ins and outs of writing, dealing with the expenses, unforeseens, many many many hours of work (emphasis on "many" -- usually several hundred hours) and publishing a whole book on your own, being in a collaboration is a FANTASTIC opportunity to get your name on the cover of a book and share your story with the world.

Jo charges a fee for this because of the amount of work that goes into creating these books. The fee you pay is usually able to be claimed as a business expense write-off if you are self-employed - depending on your country laws, of course. 

Jo provides author prompts to help get their chapter started, she coordinates cover design and takes care of the production costs, formatting, editing, working with authors one-on-one to get their story "just right," more editing, running a private facebook group for the authors to get to know each other and ask questions, she creates graphics/quote cards that authors get to all use in their marketing efforts when the book is launching, then she does more editing, figures out keywords and categories, publishes the book on the KDP platform, handles any and all publishing challenges (Amazon KDP is not straight-forward), she also interviews the authors for additional promo opportunities, and much more!
