With Jo Pronger Boone
(publishing as Jo Pronger Faulkner)
Do you dream of instilling hope in people through story telling and yet when you tell people your story they seem to lose interest? Story-telling is an art form and there are many important parts to an impactful story!
Have people told you that they admire you or that your life experiences are powerful and inspirational to others but you can't figure out what they see in you? Confidence in your story structure and your message are just a couple of key pieces to creating a best-seller!
Are you passionate about inspiring friends, family, your kids, colleagues, clients and perfect strangers to create more of what they love, and to do and experience more of what really matters in life?
Do you want to publish your own best-selling book or run your own successful book collaboration but you have no idea how or where to begin?
Do you want to grow a successful business and you've heard that being a published author will help with that? It definitely can, but only if the book is a great representation of you and your services, and if the book is marketed properly before and after it's published!
Do you dream of leading a team of excited new writers to publish a collection of inspirational stories, but you worry you won’t feel confident enough about the process from start to finish?
Are you worried you might get part way into the project, get stuck, and want to give up? Absolute Will was the first collaboration I led and I’m not going to lie, I was worried in the beginning, too. So worried, in fact, that I procrastinated for several months before even announcing it. I know this sound crazy, of course, because it became an international best seller with incredible reviews and provided a launch-pad for many of the authors to grow their businesses.
I didn’t know at first if I would know all the ins and outs of leading a team of mostly unpublished writers to create an entire book and publish it. I figured it out and documented the process as I went.
I didn't think I could help others express their emotions, write their hearts out, and edit their impactful story in a way to keep the book a cohesive read from cover to cover AND keep each writer's individual communication style. If you've read the book, you'll know this worked out beautifully in the end!
Some other collaboration creators want everyone to sound the same / write the same way. That's just not how I roll, so you need to know that up front.
Despite my usual over-thinking, I didn’t see all the possible hiccups and when they popped up it gave me unnecessary stress that I can help you avoid.
I wanted to cultivate camaraderie within my author team, most of whom didn't know each other, yet I wasn’t exactly sure how to do that at first. Now I have strategies to help you be able to do this with your own team.
My chapter in my second international best-selling collaboration, Absolute Vision is about what I went through to make Absolute Will come to fruition and follow through on my reason for creating it in the first place! (Both of these collaborations have raised funds to build a house for a family in Nicaragua who didn't have a home of their own!)
Absolute Will ended up being absolutely amazeballs. I still get chills when I look back on this collaboration. Not only do my co-authors feel like a little family now after being on this incredible journey together, our book hit FORTY #1 rankings on Amazon across four countries, which included #1 “Best Seller” in 9 categories and 3 orange Best Seller Amazon badges!
I make sure to offer incredible value to my clients. The package details are outlined below, and if you have specific requests not on the list, please ask!
Almost all of the steps below would be required for a solo author publishing their own full book, not just someone leading a collaboration. Therefore if you are looking for a private coach to help you through all the steps for your own full-length book, the fee would be the same (as posted below).
My client Leah Parker (Sunshine in the AM Publishing) released her first collaboration, "Letters to a Future Nurse," and within THE FIRST FEW DAYS it was an international best-seller in 9 categories and #1 New Release in more than 20 categories across multiple countries!
When her paperback went live, it launched her into a whirlwind of #1 rankings across multiple countries, and this book went on to hit a total of 96 #1 rankings. What an incredible accomplishment for Leah and all of her collaboration authors!
June 2023 update: Letters to a Future Nurse just won an Indie Reader Discovery Award AND is an award-winning finalist in the 2023 International Book Awards!
Also released in December, 2022, my second collaboration Absolute Vision hit #1 New Release in 45 categories across 3 countries, and #1 Best Seller in 11 categories in 2 countries, just in the first few weeks of being live on Amazon! This book is also an award-winning finalist in the 2023 International Book Awards!
What could this level of achievement do for your credibility in your marketplace / niche and for your reputation as a leader?
What would it feel like to not just be a team member but to effectively lead a team in writing an incredible, inspirational book that gets global readership?
What would producing and publishing a successful book collaboration do for your career or business?
Hiring a traditional publishing company for all of these coaching activities (if they also offer coaching - most don't) would run you upwards of $11,000-$15,000 US for this level of personal coaching over the many months your collaboration will be in production. I know of a publishing firm who offers all of the above stating the total value is $40,000 US.
I'm not about to gouge anyone, but considering the amount of work this is in TIME to help you one-on-one, based on my EXPERIENCE gained from taking courses, running two international best-selling collaborations, and the success of clients like Leah Parker with her first collaboration, my coaching/consulting fee is as fair as I can make it for both of us.
If you choose to do this on your own instead of working with me, you would be wise to invest in taking a publishing course. (I've taken several that I can recommend.)
If you want me to do all of the formatting/editing/uploading+ work rather than just be a coach/mentor/guide teaching you how to do it all for yourself, please reach out to discuss your needs and I would be happy to provide a quote.
Coaching YOU to plan/outline, write, format, publish, and promote your own book, or coaching YOU run your collaboration from start to finish, providing marketing and promotion across multiple platforms, picking relevant book categories to give you a more likely chance of hitting #1 rankings, and frequent one-on-one access to me (via calls/messaging) will be of enormous value to YOUR success as an author and as a collaboration leader.
My client Leah Parker (Sunshine in the AM Publishing), hit 96 #1 spots just in her first month after releasing her powerful collaboration, Letters to a Future Nurse! This level of success doesn't happen by accident - there is a lot of strategy that goes into publishing, whether it's your own full-length book or a collaboration, and the quality of the product (the book itself) needs to be top-notch.
With me as your step-by-step personal guide behind the scenes, if you follow my suggestions and take my advice, your collaboration will be the successful endeavor you envision it to be, for everyone involved.
This price is also typical for a solo project unless the manuscript is already edited & formatted, cover is done, and you just want help to publish and/or promote. (In that case, contact me about pricing.)
Connect with me after your payment and let's get started today. I can't wait to hear all about your book!
Curious about what to expect when working with Jo? Patti was in Absolute Will and Absolute Vision!
